AtWork Personnel is currently partnering with an exceptional Manufacturing Company in Las Vegas, NV who is looking for a Chief Operating Officer to join their executive team. Through collaboration with the Executive Team, the COO will be responsible for initiatives aimed at driving operational excellence, optimizing efficiency, and achieving business objectives. The COO will ensure the Company has proper operational controls, reporting procedures, and people systems in place, ensuring continued growth and operational efficiencies.
Compensation: $270K+/Excellent Benefits Package, Vacation, Holiday Pay, 401k plus Company match
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive operational excellence and achieve business goals.
Provide leadership and direction to the operations and support teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all operational processes internal and external for assigned groups.
Provides timely, accurate, and complete reports to the CFO and CEO on the operating condition of the company.
Attract, develop, and retain top talent within the operations team, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to meet customer demand and minimize costs.
Collaborate with Marketing to support marketing strategies and goals.
Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in operational processes and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or business discipline is required.
10-15 years of experience in senior leadership roles within the manufacturing industry; experience be from one of the following industries highly preferred: Nutraceuticals, Pharmaceuticals, or Food Manufacturing.
Demonstrated expertise in operations management, including Planning, Supply Chain, IT and Business Applications, Facilities, Engineering, Logistics and Distribution, and Customer Service.
Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans and initiatives.
ERP software experience.
